جاء الصيف، وأراد فيصل أن يرتدي قميصه من جديد. إلاّ أنه انكمش وصغر عليه. ولم يعد على مقاسه. فتفاجأ فيصل ولم يعرف كيف يتصرّف. أخذ يشدّ به إلى أن تمزّق. وظنّ أنّ شيئاً ما أكل قميصه. وعندما جاءت أمه أخبرته أنّ الثياب لا تتغيّر، بل إنه هو الذي كبر حجمه، وطلبت منه أن يتبرّع بالثياب.
Summer arrived, and Faisal wanted to wear his shirt again. However, it had shrunk and no longer fit him.
Faisal was surprised and didn’t know what to do. He kept pulling at it until it tore. He thought that something had eaten his shirt.
When his mother came, she told him that clothes do not change
It was he who had grown bigger. She then asked him to donate his clothes.
